Barry Plant has unveiled a new South Barwon location, heralding a “triple threat” leadership team.

The expansion will be led by director and agent Chari Emirzade, alongside fellow co-directors and agents Deane Hughes and Matthew Constantine.

Barry Plant stated that Emirzade and Constantine both bring prior experience as directors in other businesses, while Hughes previously worked in senior roles within the real estate sector.

With the region of Geelong described as “at the heart of an exciting growth corridor”, the network highlighted Hughes and Constantine’s long-term residency within Geelong as enabling the new office to benefit from their “invaluable insider perspectives” on the local market and community of the area.

With Emirzade having emigrated from Cyprus to Australia in 2014, Barry Plant detailed the director has since used his client-oriented approach to sell over 2,000 properties in the Geelong region over his 10 years as a sales agent and auctioneer.

Hughes brings 21 years of real estate experience predominantly within the 3216 postcode where he lives, and offers his experience in the coaching and mentoring of agents.

Within Constantine’s 24 years in the real estate sector, Barry Plant described the co-director as a “highly trusted” agent in the Belmont area, touting his high auction success rate.

Through a passion for mentoring shared by the three appointees, the new leadership team is reportedly “eager” to continue coaching and leading the South Barwon office’s already nine-strong team.

Speaking on the alignment of the new leadership team, Emirzade said “the respect and care between us is already very strong, which we believe is the basis of a successful partnership and business”.

“Our partnership came together very quickly and naturally, by a series of lucky coincidences,” remarked Emirzade.

“We are three like-minded people with the aim of building an outstanding office culture and providing excellent service. We could not be happier in this venture.”

Commenting on the expansion, Barry Plant CEO Lisa Pennell expressed that the new office “marks day one of a new chapter for the group in the South Barwon region”.

“Chari, Deane and Matt are all top agents, this is undeniable; however, they’re also good humans too and will undoubtedly lead the South Barwon team to great success,” the CEO concluded.

This new expansion follows the earlier appointment of Ashlee Jade as the new director of Barry Plant’s Doreen-Mernda location.
