A Victorian real estate brand has welcomed a new agent to its leadership circle.
Sophie Su is the newest director to join Kay & Burton, after almost a decade working with the brand.
Throughout her career, Su made a name for herself as one of Victoria’s highest-performing agents, being ranked 24th among the Top 50 Agents in Victoria by REB in 2024, and 20th in REB’s Top 50 Women in Real Estate nationwide.
“I am honoured to take on this new role at Kay & Burton, a company I deeply respect for its commitment to excellence,” said Su.
“I look forward to contributing to our continued success and upholding our reputation as a leader in the luxury real estate market.”
Over her sales career, Su stated she prided herself on building strong and lasting relationships with clients. She is also fluent in both English and Mandarin, allowing her to negotiate and liaise with a broad client base.
According to Kay & Burton’s executive team, Su’s recent appointment is a sign of the brand’s ongoing commitment to excellence, particularly in the prestige property sector.
“Sophie’s appointment marks an exciting chapter and solidifies our commitment to setting the highest standards for our clientele in Boroondara,” said executive director Scott Patterson.
Nathan Jones, the brand’s CEO, echoed his sentiment, stating: “Kay & Burton has solidified its position as the pre-eminent leader in luxury real estate, maintaining market share across our core areas in the upper echelon of the market.”
“We have undergone a transformative two years, implementing strategic initiatives that have resulted in record-breaking sales,” he said. “This position allows us to further focus strategically on nurturing top talent within our organisation, typified by Sophie.”
It has been a busy year for Kay & Burton, with REB’s top-ranked Victorian agent for 2023, Matthew Pillios, joining the brand in a director role in January 2024.
Last year, Kay & Burton underwent a significant branding facelift designed to bring the agency’s image into the 21st century, just months after Jones joined the brand as CEO.
