Stephen Mutton is going back to his roots, with a move back into the agency space.
Ray White has revealed he is moving back into the fold, following seven years spent at LJ Hooker Group, where he most recently was the general manager, franchise network, following time spent as head of network – Australia, and state director roles.
Mutton will be taking on the position of principal at Ray White Robina, joining forces with Scott and Grant Burgess to do so.
While originally hailing from Coffs Harbour, Mutton was at one stage the owner and managing director of six Ray White offices across the Gold Coast – five residential offices and one commercial outfit.
Of his move back into the agency space, he said “coming back to Ray White feels like coming home”.
“I have chosen to align myself with such well-known established operators in Grant and Scott Burgess who run an exceptional operation at Ray White Robina,” he commented.
According to Ray White, Mutton’s return – and alliance with the Burgess brothers – “signals a powerful new chapter” for the brand’s Gold Coast operations.
Scott Burgess has weighed in, stating “having Steve join us will be incredible”.
“His experience and insights will be invaluable as we continue to grow and serve our clients with the highest standards of excellence.”
Reflecting on Mutton’s decision to rejoin the business, Jason Andrew, CEO of Ray White Queensland, now has “no doubt that our best years on the Gold Coast and in Queensland are still ahead”.
“Steve’s decision to return home loudly demonstrates the unparalleled support we offer our members,” he shared.
Mutton himself already knows what the brand stands for, but said he was impressed when he looked back under the business’ hood.
“When I looked under the hood so to speak, I was blown away with the advancement that has been made in the real-time data space,” he remarked.
Calling the technology available at the group “the best in the business”, he added that the ease of doing business makes the brand “second to none”.
“The family, the resources, the technology, and the auction focus are driving the business forward.”
“His return is a testament to the strength of our network and our unwavering commitment to supporting our agents in achieving their best,” Ray White affirmed.
