Sales agent Trent Godfrey has joined Harcourts South Australia as the network’s new performance coach and corporate auctioneer.

Godfrey began his career with Harcourts in New Zealand before relocating to Adelaide in late 2013, where he quickly established himself as a leading auctioneer, banging the gavel on countless auctions across the city over the course of the next decade.

Now, he returns to the network that helped establish his place in the real estate industry, this time to impart his wisdom on the craft of auctioneering and help the network’s professionals hone their skills.

With previous experience working as business development manager and then business growth manager for two large franchise groups in Adelaide, Godfrey expressed he was “excited to be back working within the Harcourts network”.

“As a former Harcourts business owner with 15+ years in varying real estate roles, I am privileged to be stepping into the dual role of SA performance coach and corporate auctioneer,” he said.

Since rejoining the Harcourts network, the appointee further emphasised that his “passion around the auction method of sale” continues to align with the brand.

“The job now is to get to know my community, let them know I’m here and that I can help get them the results they are looking for,” Godfrey added.

Commenting on the appointment, the CEO of Harcourts South Australia, Rachel Eckey described Godfrey as an “invaluable asset in our quest to support our offices to become the best businesses they can be”.

“He is a highly respected member of the community, and for good reason: he has the credentials, the drive, and the abilities of the consummate real estate professional, but also the down-to-earth warmth and genuine care that nurtures success in others,” she concluded.

This appointment continues the network’s ongoing growth, following the recent naming of Pauline Hareb as Harcourts’ new South Australian business operations manager.
