Atlas has strengthened its South Coast presence with two new additions to its Byron Bay office.

The network has appointed local agents Lisa Cox and Grant Dale to the team at Atlas Sydney and Byron Bay.

The brand stated that both appointees offer a “wealth of expertise” which will further enable the agency to deliver exceptional service across key coastal NSW markets.

Cox brings 16 years of real estate experience and comprehensive local knowledge of the South Coast, which she has gained over the course of her 36 years of residency within the region.

Through her previous role as the owner of LJ Hooker Ulladulla, the appointee was described as playing an “integral role in Atlas’ new South Coast presence” through the extensive network of buyers she has brought to the agency.

Dale was described as offering 30 years of business and sales experience, most recently coming from Sotheby’s wherein he achieved a “proven track record of exceptional results”.

Atlas singled out Dale’s recent sale of an $18 million property in Bryon Bay’s Hinterland as highlighting the appointee’s “expertise in navigating the local luxury property market”.

Reflecting on the agency’s expansion on the South Coast, Michael Coombs, owner of Atlas Sydney and Byron Bay, described the growth as a “natural progression as demand for premium coastal properties continues to surge”.

“We’re seeing incredible interest from Sydney buyers seeking a lifestyle change, and regions like Byron and Mollymook are prime destinations. Currently 60 per cent of our buyers in key locations, both north and south, are coming from Sydney,” he said.

With the agency already witnessing increased activity, the owner anticipated that confidence will continue to grow in Byron Bay and the South Coast’s luxury property market over the next six to 12 months.

Speaking on the agency’s latest additions, Coombs stated that “with talent like Lisa Cox and Grant Dale joining the team, we’re bringing unparalleled local expertise to these high-demand areas, ensuring our clients receive the very best in service and results”.

This expansion move has continued the recent growth of Atlas by LJ Hooker, with the brand’s inaugural Queensland outpost bringing the team at Ethel & Florence into the fold.
