Capitalising on growing interest, thanks to the nearby Western Sydney Airport, a real estate office in Gledswood Hills is hoping to propel its growth under new branding.
Nick Alexopoulos has rebranded his Gledswood Hills office to Raine & Horne, bringing the network’s proptech solutions, marketing strategies and agent systems to the business he has helmed since 2016.
Alexopoulos commented that his decision to join Raine & Horne was driven by the need for a stronger brand presence in the area as well as access to the type of technology he felt would support his growing business.
“Joining Raine & Horne is a game changer,” Alexopoulos said. “When I looked into Raine & Horne, what really stood out to me was that they didn’t have an oversaturation of offices. It wasn’t like every corner I turned, there was another Raine & Horne office, and I appreciated that.”
He also values that Raine & Horne remains a family-owned business, while he’s also a big fan of the firm’s new branding that kicked off earlier this year. “Everything about the brand now feels fresh and dynamic.”
It is clear, he holds similar family values as Raine & Horne, eager to intertwine his family in the business.
“I’m excited about the future, especially as my son prepares to join the business after completing his HSC,” Alexopoulos said.
Having launched his own sales and property management business in 2016, initially from a home office, Alexopoulos relocated to Gledswood Hills in 2017. His reputation as a trusted figure in the community is reflected in his impressive referral rate.
“Ninety-eight per cent of my business comes from referrals and my extensive professional network,” he noted.
Currently leading a growing team of five, Alexopoulos is thriving in the Gledswood Hills market, which is at a pivotal point, thanks to recent nearby development.
The suburb’s proximity to the future Western Sydney International Airport has been driving interest in the area as the project’s 2026 opening date draws closer.
“Before COVID, Gledswood Hills was considered extremely affordable,” Alexopoulos said. “For instance, just four years ago, a four-bedroom, two-bathroom house with a double garage on a 400-square-metre block could be purchased for around $675,000.”
However, he stated that concerns about the suburb’s distance from Sydney’s CBD previously deterred some buyers. Today, those properties are selling for $1.1 million, reflecting the area’s significant price growth.
“Despite this, first home buyers are still attracted to the area, thanks to available 275–300-square-metre blocks and the significant infrastructure development, including new roads and improved connectivity,” Alexopoulos explained.
