A local sales specialist has been appointed as principal for Raine & Horne Surfers Paradise, marking a new chapter for the business.
In a major shift for Gold Coast real estate, sales specialist Ben Brackenridge has been appointed principal of Raine & Horne Surfers Paradise. He takes over from his father Clark Brackenridge who first opened the office in 2007.
Recognised for launching the firm’s successful property market division, Brackenridge assured clients and stakeholders that this transition will be seamless.
“This transition is part of our strategy to build on our successes and ensure continuity in how we service our clients and grow our business,” Brackenridge stated.
Although his father will no longer be active in the business, the new principal sees his father’s influence as deeply rooted in the agency’s culture.
“My father’s leadership and experience have shaped our team, and one of the best pieces of advice he gave me is to always prioritise relationships – both with clients and within the team,” Brackenridge said.
Since beginning his sales career in 2015, Brackenridge has cultivated strong client relationships that have driven much of the agency’s success. With repeat business making 30 per cent of their overall sales transactions and referrals accounting for a substantial portion of annual sales.
“This year has been one of Raine & Horne Surfers Paradise’s strongest sales years since 2007 in terms of total dollar sales,” Brackenridge said.
While overseeing the agency’s sales efforts, Brackenridge also plans to maintain close ties with the property management division, overseen by his wife, Angela Brackenridge.
“Our landlords form the backbone of our property management division. They are crucial to our stability and ongoing growth. We’ve built trust with them over the years, and they’ve been loyal to us because of our consistent results and the high level of service we provide,” he added.
Looking ahead, Brackenridge remains optimistic about the Surfers Paradise property market, particularly for apartments and luxury properties.
“While there may be some fluctuations in the market, I expect it to remain resilient overall, particularly in the apartment and luxury property sectors,” he said.
Alongside his new position, Brackenridge also aims to enhance the agency’s capabilities by leveraging Raine & Horne’s advanced technology suite, highlighting his enthusiasm for future opportunities with technology and digital strategies essential to the agency’s growth plans.
