The new outpost represents the next step in Elders’ growth plans across regional and metro markets.

Elders has officially expanded its presence in NSW with the acquisition of Ray White Tamworth, one of the region’s most recognised real estate names. Announced on 1 November, this integration will see Ray White Tamworth rebranded as Elders Real Estate Tamworth, operating from its current location at 247 Peel Street.

With a 185-year agribusiness and real estate legacy, Elders has steadily grown its footprint, driven by an eight-point plan prioritising key regional and urban areas across Australia. This acquisition marks another milestone in Elders’ rapid growth, with 17 new offices launched this year alone.

General manager of residential real estate and brands for Elders’ Real Estate, Belinda Connor, reflected on the expanding demand for Elders’ services.

“We are excited about the continued growth of our footprint in both metro and regional Australia,” said Connor.

Building on its trusted presence in Tamworth, the former Ray White business’s integration into the Elders network brings opportunities for both teams.

Staffed by 28 team members, the new Elders office spans residential, rural and commercial real estate, property management, and livestock services.

Director of the business, Mal Campbell, expressed enthusiasm about the merger, highlighting the move as a chance to change how it operates. “This move allows us to leverage our collective strengths and offer an even higher level of service to the Tamworth community,” Campbell said.

Livestock agency directors Scott Simshauser and Simon Rafferty welcomed the transition, citing Elders’ values and culture as an ideal match.

“Joining Elders will be a perfect fit for both of us. Elders’ culture is second to none and will allow us to continue to take our business forward and add further value to our clients in the Tamworth region,” they stated.

Ryan Robinson, Elders’ NSW state general manager, praised the new team for their strong local reputation.

“The aligned cultures will ensure a smooth transition for clients and employees, filling an important strategic gap in our footprint in Tamworth,” Robinson stated.
