Adam Fiteni has been appointed to lead operations for the major network in Victoria.

Fiteni has been serving as a business development manager for the brand since March of this year. He stepped into the role of acting CEO upon the departure of Fabian Sanelli, who had been serving in the top job in Victoria since January 2024.

Speaking on the appointment, Harcourts Australia CEO, Adrian Knowles, said the brand was “thoroughly impressed by Adam’s swift adaptation to the CEO role. His dedication to the network’s people and his commitment to mentoring businesses towards excellence have been commendable”.

Knowles said that Fiteni would be responsible for attracting new talent while also ensuring the satisfaction of existing members.

“Harcourts has successfully attracted top talent externally, which is commendable. However, it is equally crucial to nurture and promote internal talent to foster growth within our organisation,” the CEO commented.

On his part, Fiteni said he was looking forward to “further enhancing and solidifying my existing relationships within the network”.

He echoed Knowles’ comments, noting that “for the remainder of this year and into 2025, our primary objective will be to expand the Harcourts network while fostering internal development”.

To get the job done, Fiteni said his strategy relies on “leveraging available training resources and prioritising collaboration to build a community of like-minded professionals”.

The news comes on the heels of another major state head appointment. Earlier this week, the brand announced that Heather Edwards would step into the role of CEO for Harcourts South Australia, welcoming the real estate professional back to the network following a career move that took her to another network.
