A Brisbane business has undergone a shift with a new team being formed.

Liam Workman has risen through the ranks of RE/MAX Ignite and RE/MAX Profile – offices serving the city’s south-west and western suburb markets.

The business is now in for a big change, as Liam Workman splits off from the sales team that comprises his parents, business owners Roxanne Workman and Adam Workman, to form a new team alongside industry veteran Ryan Smith.

Smith has more than 20 years of experience under his belt, while Liam Workman has been officially working in real estate for three years, though he’s long been a familiar face around the business, helping out with numerous office tasks over the years.

As Roxanne Workman noted, her son “grew up as part of all things real estate, knowing the language, the processes and the daily operations from a very young age”.

Liam Workman himself recalls catching the train to the office at the end of the school day and being there until after 7pm.

“We would do the things that Mum hated to do, like folding papers and filling envelopes, and on weekends we did letterbox drops and got paid in chocolate milk, and hinted at the start of a Workman real estate dynasty,” he said.

That legacy now takes its next step in the pairing with Smith, with both parties excited to play off each other’s strengths.

“The beauty is that we each have an affinity with certain demographics, with age groups that resonate with us, and this syncs with real estate being first and foremost about relationships with people,” Liam Workman said.

“Our unique mix will allow us to adapt quickly to trends and appeal to clients across generations while maintaining stability, integrity, trust and reputation for great performance and outcomes,” he added.

As the business changes operationally, Roxanne and Adam Workman are looking to ensure that they stay nimble in terms of staff needs.

Soon, the Ignite and Profile offices will merge, with the renamed RE/MAX Profile-Ignite business moving to new, more spacious premises in Middle Park.
