Place Estate Agents is kicking off 2025 with bang, with Brisbane’s first auction event of the new year.
Already over 50 auctions are booked and more expected in the coming weeks, with “One Summer Day” creating opportunities for sellers, buyers, and agents across Brisbane.
Place’s Chief Auctioneer, Peter Burgin, is confident that the event will not only drive sales but will also create valuable connections between buyers and sellers.
“Each auction is a step toward securing the right buyer for the right property,” Peter said.
“Whether the property is sold on the day, or we connect sellers with a motivated buyer who ultimately secures the deal, “One Summer Day” is about creating opportunities that lead to results,” he shared. “The energy and excitement of the day will see transactions happen, or connections made, that will ultimately drive successful outcomes for Place clients.”
Place CEO, Damian Hackett, explained the thinking behind the campaign.
“We’ve seen time and again that January can be a great time to buy and sell, despite the common belief that property activity slows down during the summer holidays," Hackett said.
"History shows an uptick in market activity in Brisbane during this period. People are on holidays, they have more time to think and plan, and they’re eager to start the new year with fresh opportunities.”
One Summer Day will showcase an in-room at event at The Calile on James Street on 7 February, followed by two exciting days of onsite auctions on 8 and 9 February.
Place managing director, Paul Curtain, said the new year will bring renewed energy.
"The data shows that buyer traffic on property portals typically drops in December, but enquiry rates skyrocket from January 1 onwards. It’s clear that the new year brings a sense of urgency, and we want to capitalise on that momentum.”
With innovative new marketing strategies already in the works, Place is set to deliver the ultimate summer property experience.
