In its inaugural year, Coronis Burpengary under Jason Watson has seen exceptional success, marked by significant sales growth and a flourishing rental portfolio.

Coronis Group has reported that its Burpengary outpost has recorded an impressive first year, with the agency’s director Jason Watson delivering a 41.5 per cent increase in gross commission income and 32.5 per cent rise in the total value of properties sold over the year.

Born and raised in Maryborough, Watson was described as a “country boy at heart” who went on to become a professional motocross athlete and coach at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in Canberra.

After a successful career in motocross, Watson would then go on to open his own motorcycle business where he honed his customer service expertise and further developed his interpersonal and organisational skills, paving the way for his transition into real estate with the Coronis Group in 2018.

Leveraging his diverse professional skill set and in-depth knowledge of the markets of Caboolture, Burpengary, and the surrounding suburbs, Watson quickly established a strong foothold and captured significant market share in his local area.

Speaking about his initial decision to join Coronis Group, Watson highlighted the “family connection” within the network as a key factor, emphasising the mutual value as “paramount to his continued growth and success”.

“Coronis gave me the chance to start in a new career and succeed. Now, as a business owner, I am thoroughly enjoying being able to help provide the same opportunity to my team members,” Watson said.

As a result of Coronis Burpengary’s culture of collaboration and support, the office under Watson’s leadership has significantly grown its rental roll over the past year, which is now valued at over $450,000.

As the agency approaches its second year, Coronis emphasised that the Burpengary team is well-positioned for continued success, focusing on achieving even greater results while offering sales agents opportunities to thrive in a supportive environment.

“I find supporting my team’s success and helping change our clients’ lives for the better incredibly rewarding and fulfilling. It is what I really look forward to continue doing,” Watson said.

Commenting on the performance of the office, Coronis Group CEO Karuna Mazzocchi shared that she was “so proud of Jason and what he has been able to achieve with Coronis Burpengary”.

“He has created a strong business for himself which is only growing, and has made a business with real impact on the local community”.
