Drawing on over a decade of real estate expertise, Nick Moloney will now lead Place Estate Agents’ sales efforts across Ascot and Nundah.
Place Estate Agents has welcomed Nick Moloney as lead agent for its Ascot and Nundah outposts, where he will work under the leadership of principals Patrick McKinnon and Drew Davies.
With a property career spanning over a decade, Moloney brings experience as a former real estate business owner and distinguished Sydney commercial real estate professional, having managed hundreds of transactions and specialised in multimillion-dollar properties and high-profile office spaces.
The brand said that Moloney will now apply these skills to build lasting client relationships and drive success in residential sales across Brisbane’s northern suburbs, with a particular focus on Wavell Heights and its surrounding areas.
Reflecting on his move, Moloney acknowledged that leaving his business in Sydney and transitioning to a new market was a “big decision”, but emphasised that the lifestyle in Brisbane and opportunity to shift into residential sales have him “excited about this next chapter”.
“The lifestyle in Queensland is unmatched, and with Place’s incredible brand and leadership under Drew and Patrick, I know this is the right move to continue my past accomplishments,” Moloney said.
Principal at Place Ascot, Drew Davies, shared that he had previously connected with Moloney through social media, describing him as an “incredible addition to our team” and a career transition that had been “years in the making”.
Davies highlighted that Moloney’s past expertise and professional ethos “aligns perfectly with the culture we’ve built at Place Ascot and Place Nundah”, adding that both offices are “excited” for Moloney to “bring his expertise to the northside market”.
Director at Place Nundah, Patrick McKinnon, recognised that Moloney’s “wealth of experience and success in commercial real estate speaks for itself”, but emphasised that the new lead agent’s drive and passion for professional development are what “truly stands out”.
“We’re thrilled to have him on board and are confident that he will have an immediate impact in Wavell Heights and beyond,” McKinnon said.
