RE/MAX has launched a new office in the Brisbane suburb of Browns Plains, with RE/MAX Right Home set to specialise in both sales and property management.
Global real estate network RE/MAX has announced the launch of its new South Brisbane office, led by Sam Kathir, who recently spent six years heading a property management business in Auckland.
Following a career as an engineer and 24 years of business ownership, Kathir moved into property while studying a diploma of building surveying.
The new office will specialise in both sales and property management, a statement from the network confirmed.
“Ensuring my clients have a clear understanding of not only the process of a tenancy, or the sale of a property, but also in understanding more specifically the quality of the property, the building itself, is important in the business of real estate,” Kathir explained.
“I look at each property specifically, and what it needs to be successful, whether through appropriate on-going management or as part of the sale process.”
The global network said that Kathir’s experience across real estate will support their clients’ ongoing property journeys.
“Real estate is about both the people and the property, and I’m dedicated to ensuring that both receive the attention and support that they need,” Kathir said.
“Buildings are the basis and people are at the core of real estate, and having a professional that is rich in the knowledge with expertise and passion to succeed is vital in today’s market.

Kathir welcomed the opportunity to join the network, noting that its flexibility and client-oriented focus aligned with his values.
