A commercial property specialist joins Savills’ Sydney team to expand the agency’s middle market office sales and development transactions.

Savills Australia and New Zealand have expanded their NSW commercial sales division by appointing Harry George as director within their Sydney office.

George brings over 15 years of experience in the commercial property sector, with a transactional background in marketing and selling commercial office assets, strata amalgamations and site development across Sydney.

Over his career, he completed more than $1 billion in transactions, including the amalgamation of the Kings Green development site, now controlled by the Merivale Group.

Since 2021, he has also helped consolidate over 300 strata lots across multiple assets.

Savills said George’s capital markets experience at CBRE, where he worked with high-net-worth investors, syndicates, and domestic and international capital managers, would be an asset for his new role.

In his new position at Savills, George will focus on middle market commercial office clients in Sydney.

State director of commercial sales at Savills Australia and New Zealand, Tim Grosmann, said George’s experience and negotiation skills would enhance the team’s capabilities.

“Following a busy and successful 2024, we’re thrilled to have Harry bring his expertise and skill set to further strengthen the team as we prepare for what’s shaping up to be an exciting and productive 2025,” Grosmann said.
