Century 21 Australia has announced the appointment of real estate and business leader, Ray Ellis, as its new chief executive officer.
Century 21 Australia has appointed Ray Ellis as its new chief executive officer, following a strategic plan to strengthen the brand’s presence and market share in the region.
Chairman Charles Tarbey said Ellis’ leadership will be crucial to the company’s growth strategy.
“As a global real estate brand, we are now embarking on an exciting program aimed at further increasing our brand’s prominence across the region while working to increase the market share of our franchisees,” Tarbey said.
“The appointment of such a proven and experienced leader will support these plans and help to continue to cement Century 21 as a leading real estate brand across the Asia-Pacific region and the world.”
The property firm said that Ellis, a business executive and former director of the Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA), will bring extensive industry expertise and experience in fostering corporate growth.
Ellis expressed enthusiasm about his new role and the opportunity to build on the company’s success.
“Charles has long been one of the real estate industry’s foremost innovators, and I am excited to join him in advancing the Century 21 brand,” he said.
“Together, we will focus on expanding relationships, increasing profitability, and capturing greater market share for our franchisees.”
His appointment comes as Century 21 rolls out one of its largest marketing initiatives, The Moments of the Century campaign.
The campaign was recently showcased on digital billboards in New York’s Times Square and is now reaching Australian audiences through television commercials, billboards, and digital platforms.
Century 21 said the initiative aims to reshape the real estate narrative by emphasising community, connection, and the milestones associated with home ownership.
The campaign highlights factors that Centrury 21 believes are increasingly prioritised by today’s buyers.
Ellis said he is looking forward to his new role with Century 21, and emphasised his commitment to elevating the company’s brand and fostering strong relationships in the industry.
“The team and I look forward to further enhancing Century 21’s substantial reputation and delivering more value to our principals, customers, and communities.”
