Ouwens Casserly Real Estate has expanded its presence in Adelaide’s inner south with the acquisition of Smallacombe Real Estate.

The partnership stems from a longstanding professional relationship between Ouwens Casserly managing director, Alexander Ouwens, and Smallacombe Real Estate managing director, David Smallacombe.

With the launch of OC Mitcham, the acquisition marks a significant milestone for the company’s growth in the region.

Following David Smallacombe’s plans for retirement, he sought a partnership that aligned with the company’s values and experience.

“Partnering with Ouwens Casserly just felt right. They’ve always stood out to me because of their innovative mindset and their commitment to raising the bar,” he said.

“I’m confident they’ll take what we’ve built and push it even further, offering clients the same care they’ve come to expect, but with fresh energy and new ideas.”

Ouwens emphasised the importance of integrating Smallacombe’s experienced team into the company’s operations.

“David has built an incredible reputation here, and we’re honoured that he’s entrusted us with his business,” he said.

“His team’s expertise and longstanding client relationships will be a key part of our future.”

Nathan Casserly, Ouwens Casserly’s co-founder and managing director, highlighted the strategic significance of the acquisition as a step towards strengthening the agency’s market presence.

“This acquisition really cements our position as the go-to real estate agency across the City of Unley and City of Mitcham,” he said.

“Smallacombe team brings decades of local knowledge, giving us an edge in serving the community.”
