More than 30 winners have been selected out of over 300 finalists at this year’s REB Awards.
The 13th annual REB Awards was held on Thursday, 20 February 2025, at The Star, Sydney, with the support of principal partner Commonwealth Bank.
Members of the real estate industry gathered to celebrate the achievements of colleagues and peers, while networking with industry experts.
A total of 33 winners took home trophies at this year’s REB Awards, including industry leaders, innovators, sales agents and offices, property managers, auctioneers, principals, and buyer’s agents, as well as the rising stars of tomorrow.
The highest scoring individual winner became the recipient of the 2025 Excellence Award.

This year, Leanne Pilkington of Laing+Simmons is the worthy recipient of the coveted Excellence Award. Earlier in the evening, Pilkington also walked away with the Industry Thought Leader of the Year award.
Some of the individual winners include Bernard Desmond of Blank Financial as Residential Mortgage Broker of the Year, Matthew Follent of Kollosche as Rising of the Year, and Rob Doorey of Apollo Auctions as Auctioneer of the Year.
Other group winners include Propertybuyer as Buyer’s Agency of the Year, Pulse Property Agents as Sales Office of the Year - Metropolitan, and STRUD Marketing as New Office of the Year.
The winners were chosen from a pool of over 300 finalists, with over 950 submissions – the highest number of submissions received by REB in more than a decade of the awards program.
This year’s emcee was Australian comedian, radio and television presenter, Merrick Watts, who added light and laughter throughout the evening.
The REB Awards is a prestigious program that provides national recognition to Australia’s top real estate businesses and professionals.
For over a decade, it has set the benchmark for excellence, honouring industry leaders who go above and beyond to achieve outstanding results for their clients while driving the real estate sector forward.
