LJ Hooker has expanded its footprint on the Gold Coast with the opening of a new office in Mudgeeraba.
Local agent Roelien Powell will lead the new venture, branching out from LJ Hooker Nerang, where she spent the past five years assisting sellers across the Gold Coast Hinterland.
The new office will be a family venture as Powell will be supported by her husband, Ian, and daughter, Jess.
Powell said leveraging her relationships with agents and property managers within LJ Hooker will be key to providing tailored real estate services across Mudgeeraba and surrounding areas.
“Mudgeeraba and the surrounding suburbs offer a wide choice of lifestyle options, which is why it’s so popular among a diverse demographic,” Powell remarked.
She said Mudgeeraba and neighbouring suburbs Bonogin, Tallai and Springbrook are known for their rural lifestyle appeal, and offer a range of property options, from townhouses to acreage.
Meanwhile, the Gold Coast city of Worongary is undergoing a significant transformation, and various housing types are emerging in the SkyRidge community.
Buyers can expect prices ranging from $500,000 to over $7 million.
Powell said the Gold Coast region’s appeal has been growing due to new infrastructure and amenities, including a train station for Merrimac and the Gold Coast City Council’s purchase of Eaglemont for nature-based tourism.
Principal of LJ Hooker Nerang, Shane Colquhoun, commended Powell’s leadership in expanding the brand’s reach.
He said the Mudgeeraba and broader Gold Coast Hinterland community had a longstanding connection with the LJ Hooker brand.
“It makes perfect sense for Roelien to take LJ Hooker’s service proposition into Mudgeeraba,” Colquhoun said.
“By establishing themselves on-the-ground in Mudgeeraba, Roelien and her team will offer greater convenience to existing and new customers in the area.”
