Global commercial real estate services firm, Cushman & Wakefield, has strengthened its Queensland logistics and industrial south-west division with three key appointments.
Cushman & Wakefield said the three appointments will enhance the firm’s expertise and client service capabilities while increasing regional industrial activity.
The firm welcomed Daniel Billiau as associate director, and Flynn Stewart and Riley O’Keeffe as executives, bolstering its capabilities to meet the increasing demand in 2025.
Billiau combines leadership, strategy and data analysis, drawing on his extensive background in commercial real estate valuations and distinguished tenure as a Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) pilot.
With 12 years of service in the RAAF, Billiau is expected to play a pivotal role in strengthening team collaboration and client engagement.
Stewart has transitioned from BDO’s project and infrastructure team, where he managed complex projects and delivered high-quality results.
Cushman & Wakefield said Stewart was a valuable addition and recognised his collaborative approach and strong communication skills.
O’Keeffe, known for his adaptability and client-focused approach, brings a deep understanding of customer needs and a track record of fostering positive business relationships.
Cushman & Wakefield said O’Keeffe’s problem-solving skills and professionalism will drive the firm’s service offerings in the industrial and logistical sectors.
Morgan Ruig, director and head of brokerage, logistics and industrial – Queensland at Cushman & Wakefield, acknowledged the significance of the new hires.
“As our logistics and industrial business continues to grow in 2025, we’ve bolstered our team in Queensland to support the increasing demand,” he said.
“Daniel, Flynn and Riley all bring unique strengths that will further enhance our service offerings and client outcomes.”
Gary Hyland, national director, national capital markets, logistics and industrial at Cushman & Wakefield, echoed Ruig’s sentiment.
“We are thrilled to welcome Daniel, Flynn and Riley to our Queensland team,” he said.
“Their expertise and experience will be instrumental in driving success and reinforcing our position as a market leader in the logistics and industrial sector.”
