An industry veteran has returned to the network following his appointment as chief executive officer of Harcourts Queensland.

Andrew Friebe has been appointed chief executive officer of Harcourts Queensland, having most recently served as director of partnerships at REIP Nexus, and managing director of a major franchise covering South Australia and Western Australia.

He also previously served as chief executive officer of Harcourts South Australia for four years, and two years as chief operating officer at Harcourts International.

The appointment comes into effect on 8 April 2025.

The announcement was welcomed by Adrian Knowles, CEO of Harcourts Australia, noting that it will help enable continued market expansion.

“We’re delighted to have this exceptional talent back in blue,” he said.

“Andrew is an experienced leader in the real estate industry, renowned for his professional expertise and accomplishments, with a wealth of knowledge and specialised skills that consistently set him apart.

“He has been pivotal in developing robust business plans and implementing growth strategies, leading to the expansion of organisations and the establishment of their market dominance.”

The network hopes the appointment will enable continued growth in the Queensland market.

Friebe welcomed the opportunity, commenting: “In this role, I'm dedicated to delivering strong leadership to the Harcourts network and playing my part in developing strategies and business plans.

“With the purpose of creating success, I’m committed to ensuring everyone’s experience with our company and brand is better than that before.”
