Agency embraces iPad with new app launch

In a bid to help Harcourts agents and their clients embrace new technology, Harcourts has launched a new software application for the Apple iPad.

According to Harcourts International's head of e-business, Gregg Toyama, the new ‘eCampaign' application allows Harcourts agents and their clients to review current and sold properties, design marketing campaigns, and view videos.

In addition to its integration with the company's internal technology suite, Harcourts One, the application also includes an interactive calendar, as well as Google Maps, links to Harcourts' YouTube channel and videos, and an inbuilt commission calculator.

Clients who use eCampaign can view, select and design tailored marketing plans from a selection of brochures, signboards, print and online products.

"Mobile technologies are revolutionising the way our sales consultants do business and allows them to engage with their clients in a more interactive and personal manner," Mr Toyama said.

"Tools like the iPad make the potential of applications like eCampaign limitless - who knows where it will evolve from here."

The new technology follows the company's launch of the Mobile Agent application for the iPhone and iPad in May this year, which allowed Harcourts clients to view the company's latest property listings on the run.
