Real estate agents across Sydney have pledged to donate a generous portion of their commissions to help aid victims of the Queensland flood crisis.

Agents from PRDnationwide Baulkham Hills are looking to raise $10,000 to support those in need by donating $1,000 from every commission received for properties they list and sell over the next two months.

Despite being totally unaffected by the Queensland flood crisis, agency principal June Hibbard believes that supporting  those affected is the Australian thing to do.

“It doesn’t matter what state someone lives in, when people are in need, Aussies like to pitch in,” Ms Hibbard said.

“One thousand dollars is a lot from our budget per property but we believe that if someone is in need and we don’t reach out, then something is very wrong.”
