Despite being negatively affected by the recent flood disaster, there are signs to suggest the Brisbane property market will make a full recovery sooner rather than later.
According to an article in The Financial Review, home buyers have not been deterred by the floods, with many hoping to purchase a property in the near future.
Recent research by Place Estate Agents found that just over half of the 560 investors surveyed would look to purchase a property in Brisbane over the next six to 12 months.
Research analyst Lachlan Walker said while areas affected by the flood should expect a short term fall in sales, he is confident that home sales will increase over time as people continue to see waterfront properties as a wise investment.
