A Tasmanian real estate office has claimed a state first with its release of a property app for the Apple iPad.
Bushby First National Real Estate in Launceston has given local buyers the opportunity to view the agency’s latest listings and to receive notifications when a property goes on the market.
The free ‘Real Estate Tasmania’ property magazine includes gallery slideshows, property tours with voiceovers, floor plans, mapping and easy navigation.
Bushby First National principal Phillip Bushby said the release of the app confirms the group’s focus on innovation and providing customers with the latest market activity.
“We were the first agency in Tasmania to use QR codes on our signboards and we achieved finalist status, earlier this year, in the innovation category of the Real Estate Institute of Australia awards,” Mr Bushby said.
“The iPad is obviously an extremely popular device, with roughly an 83 per cent share of the tablet computing market. Our magazine app makes it simple for users to stay up to date with our latest news and listings in just one touch.”
