Domain.com.au has launched a new app for the iPad, and agents are set to benefit from the move, the online site's owner said.
“Domain will continue to position itself at the forefront of technological advances to ensure real estate agents and consumers are kept up-to-date with the very latest interactive tools,” Fairfax Marketplaces’ general manager real estate, Tony Blamey said.
“The real estate industry has been transformed forever with the introduction of tablets and smartphones to the market.”
In what the group claims to be the first iPad app released by a major Australian real estate portal, the app will enable agents to showcase all of their property listings for a particular area through the apps property showcase feature.
The app will also feature a synchronisation system that can transfer property data across the user’s PC, laptop, smartphone or tablet.
In addition, the app contains an interactive map display that uses GPS to view the sale price of recently sold properties along with other property listings in the vicinity.
“The Domain iPad app offers property buyers, renters and sellers an interactive and highly visual environment to browse, in addition to a great experience in utilising various tools to plan inspections and conduct searches,” Mr Blamey said.
“It also offers a fast and easy connection for property seekers to connect with agents.”
