“Strong interest for Yong master franchises has also been shown in both Tasmania and South Australia.”

The forecast came at the same time the company announced the winners of its annual awards, which were held recently at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The award for highest number of sales went to Qld-based Louis Soh for the second year in a row, while the best property management office went to a relatively new Yong franchise, at Caboolture/Morayfield.

“It was pleasing to see that a number of award winners had improved their results from previous years despite the slow market conditions,” the company said.

Rod White, Yong Real Estate’s chief operations officer and group trainer, said the company-owned offices are at located Surfers Paradise, Sunnybank Hills (corporate head office), Macgregor, Sunnybank and Fortitude Valley.

The company’s franchises offices in Queensland are located at Caboolture/Morayfield, City West (Redbank Plains) and South West (Inala), and also include Yong Finance, Yong Construction and Yong Invest.

In NSW, the company has a master franchisee and one franchise office at Allawah.

Yong Real Estate commenced in 1995 and the franchise network started in 2008, he added.
