Domain.com.au said its new marketing campaign, aimed to coincide with the spring season, would be its largest to date, and would be led by a national TV spend across free to air and subscription TV.

“This is the time when real estate is on the agenda for a huge number of Australians looking to sell their property,” said Tony Blamey, general manager, real estate at Fairfax Media.

“With Domain.com.au’s website and iPhone app – which has already recorded a massive 500,000 downloads – as well as our new iPad app, we intend to ensure they know we are the place to be for property listings as well as expert advice.”

The company said the campaign would be supported by online and print campaigns as well as “ambient activity targeting home buyers and renters.”

Domain.com.au's announcement came not long after realestate.com.au revealed that its spring marketing campaign would also be its largest to date.
