Senior executives from some of Australia’s leading real estate agencies will meet today to discuss the key issues facing principals during 2012, in an exclusive Real Estate Business Executive Roundtable sponsored by Macquarie Bank.
The Executive Roundtable, the results of which will be published exclusively by Real Estate Business across its online, print and broadcast channels, will deal with the cutting issues impacting principals’ business.
The event, an initiative of Real Estate Business, has drawn together Peter Baldwin, chief auctioneer and director at Richardson & Wrench; Ray Ellis, CEO at First National Real Estate; Douglas Driscoll, CEO at Starr Partners; Stephen Nell, Ray White NSW CEO; Sadhana Smiles, Harcourts NSW CEO; Mike McCarthy, director and CEO at Barry Plant; Chris Mourd, business development manager at LJ Hooker; and Shaun Bassett, head of the residential real estate segment at Macquarie Relationship Banking.
Real Estate Business publisher Alex Whitlock said the roundtable offered a platform for debate which would benefit the industry as a whole.
"By bringing together some of Australia’s premier real estate thought leaders principals can tap into the collective knowledge and opinion on key issues impacting the growth of their business, this year and beyond," he said.
“In bringing together these key real estate executives we’ll uncover many of the opinions and perceptions that dictate the growth of the industry,” he said.
“Drawing on our extensive distribution across print, online and broadcast we’ll continue to create new initiatives for the industry and deliver agents the insights and knowledge to better their businesses.”
Key Executive Roundtable topics will include:
The greatest challenges to an agency’s profit and revenue in 2012
Best sources for profit and/or revenue growth
Attracting and retaining new recruits
Training and education programs that principals should be undertaking
How technology is driving industry development
