Leading franchise mortgage broker Aussie has announced that it will partner Real Estate Business for the inaugural Top 100 Agents ranking.
Entries for the Top 100 Agents closed in April with hundreds of submissions registered. The full ranking and analysis will be revealed exclusively in Real Estate Business next month.
The report will rank individual estate agents according to a range of criteria, including number of sales and listings, location and support staff numbers based on their 2011 calendar year results, with the support of research partner RP Data.
Executive chairman of Aussie, John Symond, said, "We are delighted to support the Top 100 Agents report in Real Estate Business as part of our efforts to forge closer ties with leading real estate agents across Australia".
“Real Estate Business is a great information tool for agents and I congratulate those who have made the Top 100.”
Aussie’s decision to sponsor the Top 100 comes shortly after the mortgage broker group began a new referral partnership program with real estate agents.
“Our partnership program has been designed to link buyers and sellers with real estate agents, with the aim being to assist people in finding the right home or apartment they are looking for in their local market,” Mr Symond said.
“Aussie’s mortgage brokers will introduce qualified, pre-approved buyers to their local real estate partner. No personal particulars, other than the client’s property requirements, are shared with the agent. When an introduction opportunity is identified, the customer is contacted, provided with property reports and then, with permission, they are introduced to the real estate agent.
“This is designed to create a VIP experience for the customer."
“We hope our program will provide a shot in the arm for real estate agencies and the residential property market, while providing our customers a full service value proposition when purchasing and financing their new home or investment property.”
