Richardson & Wrench (R&W) has opened a new office in Narellan, in Sydney’s south west, its third in the Macarthur region and tenth since mid 2011.
The R&W Campbelltown/Ingleburn office will take over a previous franchise operation, with current principal Troy Nicholson joining the company as a director and principal of the new office.
Richardson & Wrench executive director Andrew Cocks said the new office opening was part of a strategic move to offer real estate services in Sydney’s fastest growing region.
“Richardson & Wrench Campbelltown/Ingleburn has been one of our outstanding performers under the leadership of Noel Laming,” said Mr Cocks.
“Over a period of 15 years Noel has acquired or merged six offices in the Macarthur region and built an enviable reputation for being a real estate agency that offers excellent service with integrity.
“The opening of the Narellan office completes a ring around Macarthur and taps into growth areas around Camden and Narellan that are powering ahead.”
Richardson & Wrench first opened in Campbelltown in 1960 and was the first franchise real estate agency in the area.
The Narellan opening is the group’s tenth new office since announcing its plans to expand the network in the middle of last year. Mr Cocks recently told Real Estate Business the group was looking at opening more offices in Qld and NSW.
R&W Group franchise manager Peter Flynn said the expansion had been carefully targeted to tap into growth areas of Sydney, such as Narellan, and regional NSW and Queensland.
“While we believe that growth is vital to the long-term future of our network we are expanding at a pace that is sustainable,” said Mr Flynn. “Our greater concern is ensuring that new franchisees are a good fit with the Richardson & Wrench culture.
“To have one of our long-standing franchisees such as Noel Laming entering a new territory is a healthy way to extend the Richardson & Wrench service to new customers.”
