Ray White Group has launched a new business, Ray White Projects, as it also celebrates its 110th year in operation.

“Our purpose is to market the largest and most diverse range of new residential properties throughout Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia to enable purchasers to research and select the best home or investment for them,” said Dan White, director at Ray White Group.

“We extract full value from the broader Ray White Group to produce the best results possible - group databases, call centres, local knowledge, relationships and so on.”

“We begin with a team of 18 real estate professional across eight businesses in Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Darwin, Auckland, Queenstown and Bali.

“We are currently marketing 19 projects across these markets.”

The announcement comes as the group marked its 110th birthday.

Starting in the rural Queensland town of Crows Nest, the company now has almost 1,000 offices across a number of countries including India, Lebanon, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Indonesia and Malaysia.

“The company's namesake once sold pigs, insurance and rural real estate in a railway siding that has been restored as a museum telling the Ray White story,” the company said.

“Today the Ray White Group is headed by Ray's grandsons Brian and Paul White as joint chairmen. The fourth generation continues to influence the brand: Sam White is the group's deputy chairman, Ben and Dan White are directors, and Matt White is the general manager of operations in Victoria and Tasmania.”

Ray White said its network, which now includes commercial, industrial, rural, livestock, marine, strata, investments, project marketing and home finance, lists 8,000 properties on average per month and sells over $24 billion in property annually.

In May, the company reported $2.6 billion in sales, its best result in two years.
