LJ Hooker has opened seven new offices in south east Queensland in the past few weeks, and had another two long-established offices move to new “state of the art” premises, the company has reported.

The new offices are LJ Hooker Bracken Ridge in Brisbane; LJ Hooker Highgate Hill, LJ Hooker Lutwyche, LJ Hooker Holland Park, LJ Hooker Bribie Island Executive and Waterfront, LJ Hooker Project Marketing Sunshine Coast and LJ Hooker Commercial Sunshine Coast South, while LJ Hooker Coomera has moved to a new location in Upper Coomera, Gold Coast, and LJ Hooker Palm Beach has a new office.

The company said the new style of shop front premises at LJ Hooker Coomera and LJ Hooker Palm Beach premises are “state-of-the-art”, the result of the collaborative efforts of agents, internationally recognised designers and community input.

“The new design transforms the concept of a real estate office into an inviting space for the community to access property insights and knowledge,” said L. Janusz Hooker, deputy chair at LJ Hooker.

“With a contemporary, open and clean design, these visionary concept stores invite customers to visit LJ Hooker as their first port of call when they are looking to rent, finance, buy or sell property.”

Mr Hooker said the group was targeting further growth in the Sunshine state.

“We are targeting expansion of our network in Queensland especially Brisbane,” he said. “The state capital will directly benefit from the employment, commercial and infrastructure growth driven by the huge resources activity in the Bowen, Surat, and Galilee Basins."

“Residential vacancy rates are likely to remain low making the market attractive to investors coupled with population growth and interstate migration Brisbane’s overall market sentiment looks likely to be quite positive,” said Mr Hooker.

LJ Hooker Palm Beach owners Neil and Robyn Shorrock said there were excited about opening their new doors to new and long-time customers.

“LJ Hooker Palm Beach has a special place in LJ Hooker’s history,” explained Neil Shorrock,” as it was LJ Hooker’s first Queensland office, opening in 1957 two years before the Gold Coast was proclaimed a city.’

The Shorrocks, who bought the real estate business in 1981, are keen for their team to settle in to the state-of-the-art real estate office environment in the Pavilions Building, 10 Fifth Avenue, Palm Beach.

LJ Hooker has around 7,000 residential sales professionals, property managers and support team members, with a franchise network of over 690 offices across Australasia.
