Real Estate Business has announced that it will host national industry awards in 2013 recognising outstanding individuals and groups across the real estate industry.
The inaugural Australian Real Estate Awards, to take place next year, will recognise excellence across all facets of the real estate industry. Individuals and groups from all states will have the chance to compete in the only independent national real estate industry awards in Australia.
The event will reflect the maturation of the industry, according to Real Estate Business editor Simon Parker, with a firm emphasis on recognising quality and professionalism in real estate.
“Our industry is undergoing significant change right now and it is important to recognise the professionals and organisations that are driving the evolution of the industry," he said.
“There is nothing more powerful than recognition for outstanding excellence on both an individual or corporate basis. Industry accolades can have a profound impact on winning listings, attracting new talent and growing a business.
To be hosted in Sydney in August, the Australian Real Estate Awards will be open to all Australian sales agents, property managers and principals as well as to the industry’s networks, franchise groups and independent operations.
“Real Estate Business is in a unique position – we are an independent organisation and our awards are the only industry accolades that are open to the entire industry. We’re looking forward to hosting an event that will add significant value to the industry over the years to come," Mr Parker said.
Further detail about the awards and the nomination process will be released soon.
