Real estate industry professionals can learn more about proposed national licensing rules via a series of information sessions in each capital city in August and September.
The property new licensing rules, which are due to take effect on July 1, 2013, have already sparked strong debate within the real estate industry.
Much of the debate has centred around the absence of a Contunuing Professional Development (CPD) component in the draft rules, and what some consider as insufficient entry-level education standards.
The Coalition of Australian Governments (COAG) has invited people to attend the following sessions (all session times include a 30 minute registration period):
