Total Real Estate Training (TRET) has taken over operation of fellow industry education and training company Advanced Real Estate Learning (AREL), according to a statement released by AREL earlier this week.
“As you are no doubt aware, Advanced Real Estate Learning (AREL) has operated over the past two years delivering a real estate specific conference,” said Leanne Howard, head of events at Advanced Real Estate Learning (AREL), in an email statement received by Real Estate Business.
“You may also be aware of the AREC conference, which has been and will continue to be run by Total Real Estate Training Pty Limited (TRET).
“AREC and AREL are quite separate events, operated by different businesses, and have until now had no connection with one another.”
“We wish to advise that we have reached agreement with TRET under which AREL will be operated by TRET as it has acquired AREL's business name and associated assets with effect from 1 August 2012,” she concluded.
