A successful move into project marketing has helped secure Richardson & Wrench Bargara Beach a number of key accolades at the group’s recent Qld awards ceremony.

Richardson & Wrench Bargara Beach, located near Bundaberg, won Most Outstanding Office for the most transactions and Outstanding Marketing, while its principal, Le-Anne Allan, was named Most Outstanding Selling Principal for the highest number of transactions and income earned.

R&W Noosa, which has had a stranglehold on the Richardson & Wrench awards for many years, held on to the title of Most Outstanding Office based on revenue earned, which it has claimed for seven of the past eight years.

Richardson & Wrench executive director Andrew Cocks said the Bargara office’s achievement was the culmination of many years hard work by Le-Anne and her husband and business manager, Glen, and by taking advantage of the new marketing tools provided since the rebrand of the group last year.

“Le-Anne and Glen have built a top-performing office virtually from scratch,” said Mr Cocks.

“They have done this in just seven years and built a team with the capability to successfully handle major project marketing assignments as well as residential sales and property management.”

Although the building of the office has occurred over several years, it was the successful pitch to win the marketing of a stalled 43-unit development, Dwell, on The Esplanade at Bargara Beach in 2011 that was the turning point for the Richardson & Wrench office, the company said.

Launched in October 2011, Richardson & Wrench said Dwell achieved 80 per cent sales by February of this year with a marketing strategy that incorporated advertising in print, TV, internet and extensive PR, following a repositioning and rebranding of the development.

Mr Cocks said the success of R&W Bargara Beach was not an isolated instance of offices within the network rising to the challenge of selling real estate in a challenging market.

“Across the entire network, and in particular Queensland where we aim to increase our presence, Richardson & Wrench offices have raised the standard of service and marketing,” said Mr Cocks.

“The rebrand of the organisation has created an energy and optimism that has led to outstanding results for members of Richardson & Wrench and their clients.”
