RealestateVIEW.com.au has redesigned both residential and commercial property portals in a bid to create a ‘streamline’ process.

The 11 year-old property listing site is one of Australia's leading listing portals and is run by the Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV).

General Manager of realestateVIEW.com.au, Petra Sprekos said the new design will benefit both agents and vendors.

“In a challenging market, it has become even more critical to deliver the technology that can help agents achieve cut-through in their markets, and house hunters find their dream home.”

The changes to the residential portal includes improved navigation, the ability for agents to add their agency’s logo colours as well as larger photos and upgrades to rural listings.

“We wanted to make changes that would streamline the process for both consumers and agents and help them maximise their time,” said Ms Sprekos.

Also an improved layout will allow buyers to view properties on a map and choose their homes geographically.

According to Ms Sprekos, the reception so far has been positive.

“It’s exciting to receive feedback that we’re exceeding these needs and helping both groups achieve their goals in the process.”
