The principal of Raine & Horne Parramatta has announced plans to open a new office in the nearby suburb of Carlingford.
John Surian, principal of Raine & Horne Parramatta, is launching the new office in partnership with his daughter, Lisa.
“The office is strategically located at the intersection of Marsden Road and Pennant Hills Road at Carlingford so that it can be a focal point for a wide-ranging real estate footprint,” said Mr Surian, who worked with Raine & Horne’s Max Raine in the firm’s Burwood office between 1974 and 1976.
“We will service suburbs including Carlingford, Oatlands, Dundas, Ermington, Rydalmere, Telopea, Dundas Valley, North Rocks, Kingsdene, North Rocks, Northmead, Winston Hills and Cherrybrook,” he confirmed.
A long-term resident of Carlingford since 1982, Mr Surian also lived in nearby Rydalmere, was raised in Eastwood, while his children matriculated from local primary and private schools.
“While my longevity in the district gives me significant community knowledge, we also manage the building where Raine & Horne Carlingford is located, so we’ve also enjoyed a considerable local commercial presence for many years,” said Mr Surian.
Ms Surian said upgraders dominate the local market, attracted to the area’s schooling facilities.
“Apart from The Kings School at Parramatta and Tara Anglican School at North Parramatta, Carlingford’s James Ruse Agricultural High School is a standout in the state, with a median Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) above 99,” she said.
“The majority of our buyers are second and third time buyers, who are looking for a substantial family home to put down their roots for 10 to 15 years.”
