REA Group’s executive leadership team hosted its second annual customer strategy forum on the Gold Coast late last week, which was expected to focus on the major digital trends set to impact the real estate industry.

“We’ll be talking to real estate agents about some of the key digital trends we’ve seen develop over the last 12 months, as well as what realestate.com.au has in the product pipeline to help agents best leverage the digital technology available to them,” Arthur Charlaftis, general manager of sales and operations, said late last week.

“As well as looking at how real estate agents can benefit from these digital trends, the customer strategy forum also provides an opportunity for our customers to ask questions and provide the leadership team with feedback.”

Mr Charlaftis said they would also share insights about some of the new products being developed.

Speakers included REA Group’s chief product officer, Henry Ruiz, who was due to provide an overview of the key initiatives delivered in the last 12 months. Mr Ruiz, along with Mr Charlaftis, were also expected to speak about digital trends, and how realestate.com.au is helping real estate agents to make the most of them.

Paul Simos, general manager strategy and corporate development, was expected to speak about foreign investment in Australia as well as REA Group’s recent marketing alliance with News Limited.

“After the success of our first customer strategy forum in Sydney last year, we’re looking forward to another great forum where we can share knowledge, ideas and insights,” Mr Charlaftis concluded.
