If you think selling ice to Eskimos might be tough, spare a thought for those real estate agents who take up a challenge of selling sand to Australians.
The unique promotion is part of an initiative by Ray White Surfers Paradise to find four energetic, creative people to participate in the "perfect first year introduction" to a real estate career.
Part of the pitch involves the new agents selling the unsellable – sand – via a 60 second YouTube video presentation.
“Real estate is one of those careers where the base start is low but the highs are unlimited. Our best agents out-earn the most prestigious of jobs. It’s all about energy, support and systems,” CEO of Ray White Surfers Paradise Andrew Bell said.
“So we are on a nationwide search from today to find the next sales superstar to join our best business - Ray White Surfers Paradise Group on Queensland’s Gold Coast.”
“We’re the dominant real estate business in the 10,000 strong network of Ray White real estate professionals and now we’re seeking four people to move the Gold Coast and learn the ropes from the best.”
Ray White said the package to be awarded to four energetic real estate aspirants includes a base sales salary and accredited real estate training, personal development coaching, diverse mentoring and upskilling. It will also give the agents exposure to exposure to the office’s residential, commercial, marine, hotels, industrial, leasing and sales divisions.
“Plus you get the Gold Coast lifestyle where we get 245 days a year of beach weather,” Mr Bell added.
