The inaugural Australian Real Estate Awards 2013 is shaping up to be a highly competitive event, with industry professionals and groups moving quickly to secure a chance to battle for top honours.
An initiative of Real Estate Business, partnered by Domain, the Australian Real Estate Awards will recognise outstanding individuals and groups across the national real estate industry.
According to Simon Parker, Real Estate Business editor, the industry has been quick to embrace the new awards program, which is open to the entire industry – unlike any other industry awards.
“The level of engagement that we have received in just a couple of weeks underscores the importance of an independent and unrestricted awards program for the entire real estate industry,” he said.
“The Australian Real Estate Awards are open to every professional and real estate group across the nation, and for this reason, they are set to become the premier benchmark of the industry.”
As a first step, agents and groups that want to participate in this year’s awards must lodge a nomination online. Groups and agents can nominate themselves; alternatively third parties can nominate businesses or groups.
Nominations will close Friday 22 March 2013.
