Despite the real estate industry still experiencing repercussions from the global financial crisis (GFC), there is enormous opportunity for success, claims CEO for McGrath Estate Agents, John McGrath.
“As the end of the worst economic period in 100 years appears on the horizon, the world and the real estate industry has changed forever,” said Mr McGrath, who is currently preparing the 16th annual Australasian Real Estate Conference (AREC).
“Hence the theme ‘ideas that work’. We’ve designed a program that will give practical, innovative and ready-to-apply ideas that have the ability to change your business forever and how you get the ultimate result for your clients.”
With a diverse line-up of international speakers openly sharing their industry knowledge and life experiences, the two-day conference will return to the Gold Coast in May.
Mr McGrath claims the line-up is “without a doubt the best program in the history of AREC".
This year’s keynote speaker will be Chris Gardner, the inspiration behind the academy award nominated film The Pursuit of Happyness.
Other speakers include US-based David Knox, John Symond, Shaun Osher, Tom Panos, Phil Harris, Tracey Dixon, Josh Phegan, Christel Baker, Sarah Hackett, Nick Renna and radio personality Alan Jones.
