‘Think like you’re number one, train like you’re number two’ was the catch phrase of Barry Plant Group’s annual conference held last month.
More than 500 sales and property management delegates attended the Kickstart conference at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre to hear from industry leaders and to be equipped for a successful year.
In his opening address, Barry Plant Group CEO and director Mike McCarthy celebrated the achievements of the group.
“Nobody sells more homes in Victoria (and Melbourne) than Barry Plant,” he said.
“In particular, we dominate the Melbourne market where we listed nearly 24 per cent more homes than our nearest competitor in 2012, a truly outstanding result.
“Today should be the beginning, or a renewal, of your personal commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in 2013.”
Speakers at the event included Peter Thurin from Black in Excellence, real estate coach Josh Phegan who taught property managers how to achieve best performance, and Chris Hanley who spoke to sales consultants about income earning ideas and strategies.
Barry Plant was recently ranked Number One Sales Group in Australia in Real Estate Business’ Top 20 Real Estate Groups.
