Perth-based agency, Crawford Realty, has been announced as the 17th fastest growing company in Australia and the nation’s fastest growing real estate agency, according to a prestigious list.
The agency landed a place on the prestigious Business Review Weekly (BRW) Fast Starters list, after generating $6.7 million revenue from its 38 staff in financial years 2011 and 2012, representing a 56 per cent increase in revenue.
BRW’s annual Fast Starters Awards recognise Australia’s top 100 fastest growing companies, which are ranked on revenue and are open to companies aged four years and less.
Crawford Realty director and founder Ryan Crawford said the agency has undergone considerable growth since 2008.
“I’m very pleased with how the company has placed. These are prestigious awards indicative of the next big players in Australian business,” he said.
“We have undergone substantial growth since our launch in 2008 and it’s a particularly significant achievement for us and all the Fast 100 winners given the economic conditions of the past few years.
“The company has transitioned from a team of five based in Port Hedland to a national investment group with operations throughout the Pilbara, Perth and now Brisbane.
“Ninety per cent of our clients are investors who have created significant wealth by investing in positively geared property, utilising CPG’s resources and services. The concept of investing for passive income is clearly becoming an increasingly desirable investment strategy.”
Adrian Wilson, of Wilson Property Agents in Sydney, was placed in position 62 on the list. It was his second appearance on the list.
