A NSW network has rebranded after acknowledging the evolution of real estate into a more “sophisticated” marketplace.

Laing+Simmons general manager Leanne Pilkington said the new brand will be officially launched mid-year. However, attendees at the recent Ideas Exchange conference managed to get a sneak peek at the new brand.

“The feedback we received from industry professionals as well as prospective franchisees at the Ideas Exchange was very positive,” Ms Pilkington said.

“The new brand reflects the changing nature and greater sophistication of the real estate market while respecting the core values and integrity of the Laing+Simmons name.

“This was recognised by the many different industry professionals at last week’s event,” she said.

Coordinated by The Real Estate Project, the Ideas Exchange 2013 was a series of three one-day conferences held in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney, with the theme being the “brightest ideas in real estate”.

“The refreshed Laing+Simmons brand provides the perfect platform to achieve our future strategic growth objectives,” Ms Pilkington said.

“It will underpin and support our efforts to consolidate our position as the leading boutique operator in key local markets by providing the tools and support franchisees need to build their market share and drive improved outcomes for their customers,” she said.
