The Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ) and RP Data have joined forces to provide even more in-depth data both for agents and consumers.
The CEO of the REIQ, Anton Kardash, said the strategic alliance was a logical step.
“The REIQ has been a trusted name for real estate professionals and consumers alike for more than 95 years and we remain committed to a contemporary and progressive vision, one which aligns well with an industry leader such as RP Data,” he said.
“Like RP Data, the REIQ produces a range of highly-regarded statistical research and this partnership will allow us to reach new heights of data analysis that will ultimately benefit the marketplace.
“We all know that in the real estate game data is king,” Mr Kardash said.
RP Data CEO Graham Mirabito said the strategic alliance allows for deeper engagement with key REIQ clients in Queensland.
But the institute in Queensland isn’t the only one striking up partnerships with service providers; the Real Estate Institute of NSW (REINSW) has since joined forces with Rockend and the property management software package REST.
Speaking with Real Estate Business, CEO of the REINSW Tim McKibbin said the new partnership was a great addition for members, but is just a taste of what is to come.
“We’re enhancing our product offering and moving with the technology, so there’s a variety of other things that we’ll be doing in terms of integrations with various quality industry providers such as Rockend so that when agents use certain products they will have a seamless experience from one product to the next.”
REI Forms Live users can now auto-populate their agreements and forms from REST without having to re-enter data. Users can also save completed agreements and forms directly back to REST document management or fileSMART.
“It's going to enhance the experience, it addresses a lot of the human error issues because a lot of documentation will pre-populate, and it’s far more efficent,” Mr McKibbin said.
