With six office openings this year, LJ Hooker has become Victoria’s fastest growing group, the nationwide network has claimed.
The six new offices stretch from metropolitan areas to country regions, including offices in Ringwood, Edithvale, Glen Waverley, Traralgon, Glenroy, and a seventh office in Narre Warren South is to be opened in early September.
Victorian manager Paul O’Regan, who is also LJ Hooker Home Loans national manager, said the timing was right to expand the network throughout the state.
“Each week we have calls from other real estate groups’ agents wanting to join us at LJ Hooker because our business model works and we are industry leaders and social media innovators. However, we are quite strategic about getting the right cultural fit for our brand and we are quite deliberate with our recruitment of new franchise owners," he said.
“When we consider taking on new staff they are interviewed by two existing LJ Hooker franchise owners, as well as two corporate staff.
“It’s not just simply a matter of someone coming forward with a real estate or business background, but more a case of us wanting to recruit the right people who passionately want to be part of the LJ Hooker network.
Victorian-based network hockingstuart has also opened five offices this year, proving the group is dedicated to rapid growth in 2013.
The newest offices to open include Doncaster in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, the Berwick, Pascoe Vale, Coburg and Preston offices.
hockingstuart CEO and managing director Nigel O’Neil said the group’s growth trajectory has been solid, helping to strengthen its position in the marketplace.
