One of Australia’s biggest network groups is expanding at a rapid rate.
After opening up six new offices since the start of the year in Victoria, LJ Hooker is now directing their attention towards Tasmania and Sydney’s south.
According to LJ Hooker regional manager for Tasmania and Victoria Paul O’Regan, expansion plans are now underway, with a potential six offices set to open across Tasmania before the end of the year.
“Tasmania is a key region for LJ Hooker and we strategically want to grow and cement our place as real estate market leaders in this state," he said.
“We are focussing on the Hobart, Devonport and Launceston areas, as well as other regional centres where we are not currently represented.
“This is an exciting new phase for us and in Tasmania we already have some of the best franchise owners and sales agents in Australia. We’re looking forward to more joining our close-knit ’family’.”
At the same time, LJ Hooker has just opened four new franchises south of Sydney, with plans to open nine more before the end of the year.
Strong interest from homebuyers and investors has meant more franchise owners are now needed to try and meet the unprecedented market demand, according to LJ Hooker NSW South and ACT regional manager David Colman.
“Since May, we have opened new LJ Hooker offices in Ingleburn, Chester Hill, Silverdale and Dalmeny, and a new owner has just bought an existing franchise at Kingsford and will take over in July," he said.
“We also have many other areas earmarked for growth opportunities with the LJ Hooker network that are in the pipeline right now. This is a very exciting growth period for us."
