Home buyers will now be able to gain a competitive edge in the market thanks to a new real estate app that provides free access to RP Data reports.

App users simply type in the property address and in less than two minutes the seven page report, which includes estimated property value, sales history and suburb profile, is emailed to them.

The reports will be available for free via a partnership between RP Data and Bank of Queensland (BOQ).

“This app is the only one on the market that gives users free access to full RP Data reports that include an estimated property value,” said BOQ group executive for retail banking, Matt Baxby.

“Now at open homes, prospective homebuyers can have a comprehensive property report in their hands in the time it takes them to walk through the gate to the front door.

“That’s the confidence and convenience we want to give house-hunters.”

This app will also help ease the pressure of the home buying process by providing customers with contacts from BOQ branches who can offer their advice and assistance.

The app provides reports on almost any residential property or suburb in Australia and is available for free to BOQ customers and non-customers.
